On Landsvik farm, on the north east of Holsenøy the architect Chr.Christie measured an old smoke room in 1860. Both the great chimney opening with the decorated header beam (see above) and the fine, carefully worked door, with half columns and arches provides evidence of a well-to-do farm. The room has gone today. It was probably from the Late Middle Ages, related from a building history point of view, to the houses at Aga, Huse and Arnatveit.
